The Client has been in the business of building steam engineering and control instrumentation solutions that work for process industry. Started with steam generation solutions 50 years ago, today it has partnered with the world technology leaders in respective fields, manufacturing products that cover the entire spectrum of energy generation, energy efficiency, control and instrumentation for the process and power industry.

Pre-implementation Status

  • The Design Team of the client used AutoCAD software for the design of various energy equipment viz., Thermo-compressors and boilers. 

  • Before the generation of Drawings, a lot of complex calculations need to be performed such as calculation of No. of diffuser cones and their sizes, BTS Pipe, Thickness Calculations, etc. 

  • As the business of the client was rapidly growing, the work load on the design team increased considerably. 

  • This caused a productivity bottleneck and the current order cycle time of the project was affecting project delivery milestones.

PARAM developed a customized Thermo-Compressor Design Automation Software Solution for the client which not only produced the automatic generation of Engineering Drawings (To Scale), but also generated outputs such as Automatic generation of CAD BOM, SAP BOM, Six Sigma Report and other MIS reports.
